Bowen/Neural Touch
Therapy consists of precisely placed ‘moves’ that
involve lightly ‘rolling’ across and gently ‘plunking’
various muscles, tendons and ligaments. These subtle
‘moves’ are done using the pads of the finger tips and
thumbs.
Bowen Therapy was
created and developed by Tom Bowen of Australia. He practiced
and refined his technique over thirty years, right up to his
death in 1982.
Neural Touch Therapy
was developed by Gene Dobkin. Neural Touch has its roots
in Bowen Therapy and is the newest advancement to this amazing
modality.
I also have
experience in Swedish massage, Shiatsu and Raindrop Therapy (a
type of aromatherapy massage) using essential oils. I am
also certified in Reiki and other forms of energy work.
